Beans Roasted Rite offers you many single origin coffees. Each origin is sample roasted and tested to maximize the flavour profile of the coffees we offer for sale.
One of the challenges we face as a small company is that there are either no or very limited labeling requirements for what is placed into a bag of coffee you purchase. We offer you coffee in three ways - single origin coffees where all the beans come from a single farm or cooperative. Blended coffees - this may be from green beans from different varietals blended in the country of origin or blends created after the individual single origin varieties have been roasted in Ashcroft and then are blended to create unique flavour profiles. Finally, we offer beans roasted from single origin green coffees that have been processed in Burnaby, BC using the Swiss Water Decaffination Process.
We do not add flavourings, robusta coffee beans, chicory or any other items into the packages we sell. While this limits our profit margin it does allow us to know you are getting the highest quality fresh coffee on the market today.
We offer three types of blended coffees.
First, we have blends that have been created through a process of mixing and matching our single origin coffees, after they have been individually roasted, to create unique flavour profiles. Most of our blends are designed for specific customers and are mainly used in the "private label" sales.
Second, we have blends that are created by blending our single source coffees with our Swiss Water Decaffinated coffees from the same origin. This creates our "Half-Caf" blends. Many people enjoy these coffees because they have a full flavour profile yet only 1/2 of the caffienne of the single origin roasts.
Third, we have coffees blended at origin. These are specialty coffees from small plantation where the highest quality of beans from several variatels are mixed to create a special "origin" flavour profile. Our Brazil Ipanema Gourment is an example of this - the Neuvo Mundo and Ikatu varietals are both newer coffee trees. Their production is limited, especially when you are only purchasing beans from the best 5% of quality. This blend creates a wonderful coffee that is a very special treat with great deserts at the end of a fine meal.
